Happened again, looks like five year service kit going on tomorrow and ordering more spare pumps.

...and ordering more spare pumps.
I have a spare but I was going to order a backup spare for my spare but they are out of stock. Unfortunately, I made a recent post on the Ventana FaceBook page referring to the
Solar pump. Shame on me!

This made me think of TP availability 3 years ago.
ahh, the good ‘ole days and the stories we can share

Resolved…I received my annual service kit and replaced just the igniter and that fixed my inop burner situation. I will be doing the rest of the service as well but glad to see my problem was just the igniter. There was no obvious issue that I could see with the original but he no workie.

I haven't done a service or repair on mine. I've had it serviced by others to date. I do carry a kit just in case. How difficult to preplace igniter or flame sensor, or to do full annual service?

Several YouTube videos show how to do the service, and it's pretty simple.

I just replaced the ignition. It is simply held in place by a spring pin. Disconnect two wires, pull the pin and remove igniter. Replace in reverse fashion. You need the remove front cover of heater and smaller stainless burner cover to gain access.
