My summer loop pump failed and yesterday I installed a US Solar Pumps C1E 12V 20L Circulating Pump (nothing new here). As reported by others, it's not a difficult job. What is new now is all three pumps have the same outlet/inlet positions on newer Newmar Rigs. So, the aforementioned pump is a direct replacement for the Loop 1 and Loop 2 pumps.

Here's a great link on changing the summer loop and zone 2 pumps. He had to use a longer hose to make the above pump work for the zone 2 replacement which is now not an issue on newer rigs.

Here's video on changing the summer loop pump. He used the more expensive OEM pump. While not as useful as the link above, it's worth watching.

Where I purchased the pump. Many have recommended this pump.

Thanks! I now carry 2 of these pumps from US solar in the bay. 👍

Likely same OEM. Yes they are

Like the resource, I didn't see anything about mag drive. Thanks for the response.
Thanks. From what I've read from a poster on another forum, one manufacturer makes the pumps for both ITR/Oasis and US Solar. If that's the case, I looked up the company info, the specs on the pump and they are mag drive and engineered to last 30000 hrs. They did look like the pump I installed the other day. You have to be company to buy direct from them. Sorry I don't recall the name of the company. I believe I received this info on the forum link above.

Add me to the list of pump changers. This will be the third time I’ve had to change the summer loop pump—this one only lasted 11 months with very little use. Pretty frustrating…I haven’t checked the fuse yet, but pretty sure the pump has failed based on my other two times.

Anyway, I ordered two from solar pumps—thanks for the link above. Last year one pump from ITR was $297 including shipping. Solar pumps was $190 for two pumps. Pretty significant difference.

Hi Gary. I'm in the process of changing the summer loop pump with a US Solar pump as well. How did you handle the reduction from the Oasis 3/4" (5/8?) hose down to the US Solar 1/2 hose?

Believe it or not, when I changed the fuse, it worked perfectly. So now I have two spare pumps and unfortunately cannot advise on the step down fittings.

I guess you can advise me when my next pump failure occurs!

I'm not sure you want to count on me for anything that requires astute observation. Case in point: apparently you've been on this forum for two years, and somehow, I’m just noticing it today.

At this rate, I’ll probably discover fire sometime next Thursday.

So apparently, it's a 5/8" line that is on the Oasis. Sorry for misstating 3/4 in the post above. I guess it should be easy enough to get a couple of brass 5/8 - 1/2" adapters and a foot or so of 1/2 heater hose, and that should be all I need.

Would anyone care to confirm this for me?

Do you have the correct pump? See this post.

Yep, that's the one. Bought several of them a few years back and now I see that they are sending them out with the 5/8" connectors. Mine were being made/shipped with 1/2" connectors. It's not a big deal, I'll just make a run to Lowes and pick up a couple of 5/8" - 1/2" adapters.

Mine came with the adapters, but I didn’t get around to checking to determine if the sizes were correct. Good luck!
