The lighted handle is all original. And I just checked - this “mod” was actually $14.99. A little steep for what it is but the original always seemed sub-par to me.

The RVIA sticker also had to go but I recorded the sticker # in case anyone ever cares. This was a one year model like the VT and DS 3724 in 2017. Not very popular I guess, but it suits me perfectly.

If I were doing it again, I’d use slightly smaller numbers - these are 1.2” so maybe 1”? I’d also try to get the 7 straight but its close enough.

Another cheap easy one for those of us with analog gauges, putting dots where the gauges would normally be when all is good while driving. just a glance tells you all is good, or not. View attachment 163

I put two dots on my windshield that corespond with the lane lines on both sides, about 5” up the windshield from the dash. This lets me know where the limits of my lane are on both sides without taking my eyes off traffic and road conditions.

When you get in a construction zone with narrow lanes, or when there is a drop off with no shoulder, or while in the right lane on city streets, or any other situation where your lane position really matters but you also have to watch what’s going on in front of you every second, this really helps ensure your coach is where you want it to be, and you wont incur any damage,

This is along the lines of charts for sailing. Charts don’t tell you where to go like maps, charts tell you where not to go, as in where the hard stuff is that you don’t want to contact with your hull. Its the same thing with my windshield dots - It shows me my lane position limits without looking in the mirrors, and helps prevent coming in contact with anything that I would really rather not contact.

I had the brass water quick disconnects replace with plastic Banjo-type fittings and like them a lot better and there is no restriction of water flow.

When flushing my black tank I close the gate and let it fill but I wasn't sure how much water I was putting in so I got a flow meter to measure the amount of water I was putting in.

On my black tank flush hose, my water connection to the coach, both ends of my external water filter, and on the Y connection on the pressure regulator that hooks to the campground water supply.

Interesting - I don’t have any on mine. Just a hose reel for fresh, with my regulator and external filter, and for the tank flush, just a female garden hose connection. I never need to use the tank flush though because I set the toilet on “wet bowl” whenever I have hook-ups and I don’t dump until its at 2/3. Seems to be working ok.
