Nice job I’m in the middle of stopping the water before the rot. Did you you use the half fender or full round fender?

Used the full round then cut and reformed the end.

This thread brought back some unpleasant memories with my previous coach.

I drove six hours in a steady downpour yesterday and thought to check my pegboard this morning. Sure enough, there were the telltale wet spots pointing to the fact that Newmar has yet to care enough to crack this nut after nearly two decades of it being a problem. Total fail on their part. There are times this company disgusts me.

looks like you are doing a nice job. Hopefully Newmar does same...I suspect the stainless underbelly will be shortcutted to galvanized steel....

I used 3M urethane seam sealer then sprayed it with Flex Seal.Sikaflex 221 is a very good product also.I think that is what Newmar uses just not enough of it.Yes Newmar uses 20ga. galvanized.I’m going to Newmar next month for them to do the rest of the underbelly.

You did a great job. I’m glad that Newmar is fixing the other bays. I hope it’s no charge to you. It is awful that this is even happening!
