Right side of kitchen slide is out 3/8 inch further than left side. Wall appears to be bowed a bit causing kitchen counter/bar to detach from wall and floor trim to fall between wall and floorboards into storage bin below! You can see daylight through the floor gap! Also, the entire row of screws along the top/interior of the door jamb in the 2 storage bays below are missing.
Can we just do the resync the motors tip I've seen online to fix it... "pull in 6 inches, let motors full stop, then extend until both motors stop, repeat 2-3 times until both motors stop together"? Will this bring the wall back flush with the floor, so we can fix the interior and replace the screws in the storage bays? Is it something more serious going on to bow the wall or is this common? What would cause this motor asymmetry to occur? How can we avoid it in the future? Thanks for any help you can give us!

I would guess your wall caused the problem. Unless your slide is hung up badly on something and then it would more likely strip the teeth in the track.

I just saw a situation like this on a Forest River Motor home. But even the side opposite the slide fell off and had to return to the factory for correction. The owner thinks the side with the slide is doing it now. Poor construction and quality control

Resyncing a Schwintek is taking it all the way out or in and holding the button for at least 7 to 10 count.
