I believe your slide gearbox just gave up. Have you tightened the gearbox bolts? I think it is recommended to do it yearly. Mine got checked every six months.
Empty under the bed, remove the 4 screws holding the floor panels in place under the bed. Then you will have to crawl in there with a flashlight. You should see a shaft going to the gearbox. Check the bolts on the gearbox. But, from what you have said, you may have to replace the gearbox. Good luck and let us know what you find.
The motor runs both ways but nothing moves.
There are slots in the bottom of the tubing. Guessing there is a gear that runs in the slots. Don't know yet if the gear is shot or just loose.
Going to look at that some more.

Something that surprised me is how cheaply the bedframe is made. Put together with staples. It is falling apart.

Found the problem.
What would cause the shaft to break.
Tried calling Newmar, so much static on the phone we couldn't talk.

Got through to Newmar.
They've been having phone problems this week.
Part is in stock.

After further investigation.
It appears that when the slide got hung up the rack kept moving and started pushing through the bed frame.
Now the bed frame is a mess.
What's weird is the rack does not seem to be loose from the slide.
And I can push the slide in and out pretty easy.
But it doesn't quite come in all the way, stops about an inch short.

Taking it to the repair shop next week hope they can figure it out.
