Thinking about a 280Ah LiFePO4 for our motorhome house bank?

We have a 2016 Class C that we use mostly for weekend trips out of Portland, with a few longer summer runs. The two flooded house batteries that came with it are getting tired, and I want to move to lithium before next season. Our charger does have a lithium profile, and the converter is a newer one, but I am still working through the details.

I keep going back and forth between two 100Ah units and a single 280Ah battery to keep the wiring simpler. While looking around I came across this ECO-WORTHY 12V 280Ah LiFePO4 Battery Review and it got me wondering about the actual usable capacity and whether the built-in BMS handles cold charging. That matters here in Oregon, since we camp into October and sometimes see near-freezing mornings.

Does anyone here run a 280Ah single battery in their rig? I am mainly curious about the real-world dimensions, mounting options, and how it behaves with a standard converter. Thanks for any input.

Generally the ECO-Worthy get good reviews. I know Will Prowse seems to like them and he does a lot of reviews on these batteries.

As far as 2 100ah or one 280ah, I would look at costs and what room you have. A 280ah is usually better in this way.
But one advantage of getting 2 (or more) 100ah batteries is if one fails, you have others to continue going. And you would only be out the cost of a 100ah battery and not the whole 280ah battery.

As you can see, I can go either way. When I went lithium, I went with 8x100ah as the bigger batteries were not yet as common as they are today.

Hope this helps.
