Looks great!
Thank you, John!
Really, really sweet spot Jim. Great job as usual.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I believe it is done, well, except for whatever flowers/plants Trish drags in. And you know there will be some. lol So anyway, available to rent now!

@GlampDaddy and his crew rolled into the park yesterday. A couple of Dutch Stars, a Newell, London Aire, a Ventana a Country Coach, all beautiful coaches. Anyhow, early afternoon and the master (Sir Glampster) held a Brisket 101 class in the rain!

I feel I am now ready to forge into the brisket world!

@Jim ... did @GlampDaddy put together a group to take you up on the "stay the month of May offer" from several months ago?

Nope! But it got eaten up piece by piece by a slew of other guests. :-) Shame too cuz that was a perfect time for someone who wanted to visit the area to find an affordable place to stay. I'll try again next year!

Everyone leaves this morning except Marilyn and me; we leave tomorrow for a week in the Smokies. Jim and Trish have once again been awesome hosts. Until next time, safe travels to all our friends.

That’s a serious log on that campfire.

Wow, what a great week this was! Lots of food, lots of stuff to drink, awesome company. Learned a bunch about brisket. Smoked a ham on day one, followed by brisket, then taco night, and finished up with a shrimp boil last night.

And just like that, everyone is leaving! Gonna be quiet around here for a few days. :(

We are thinking about another July 4 trip. Anyone else heading Deer Springs way for that week?

And you were not wrong about the beautiful coaches!

Maybe just maybe...... I missed last 4th of July there through an accident. I may try again this year. Who all else is going?

I made our reservation today. I need to be some where for the 4th. 😂

Wow got on the site and everything is almost booked. We just booked site #9 on the wilderness loop. From July 3rd to the 7th.

Its about 750 miles for us.

I think we are on site 3. 6/30-7/6. Not far for us around 170 miles.

Hang on @Jim , they're coming. At least they won't burn half a cord of wood.
For those of you who have been know, for those who haven't, you'll know soon enough.

Always a pleasure to see John (Old Bubblehead) among our very first guests and loyal repeat visitors. True to form, MaryBeth never travels without her sewing obsession, and Deer Springs is happily part of her portable sewing studio. And of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Barcelona, Billy, and Patrick, stars of picture #4.
