On my coach, the slides will not operate with the engine running.
The order of slide operation and leveling has been discussed in hundreds if not thousands of posts. Newmar, Freightliner and Spartan can’t seem to arrive at an agreement, either. It is my recommendation to call your brand expert at Newmar and get the procedure from them.
