Sturgis is still going to happen? Wow.

GREETINGS FROM THE "MOTHERSHIP"!

We got here Sunday, & of the 52 available spots, 4 were vacant. Service techs got a lot accomplished, as there are maybe 28-30 here now.
They are fixing some warranty paint issues, & the sabotage that occurred on the right rear, near the rear cap. Paint & Body are backed up, so what was to be 5 days, may be more like 7-8, before the coach is ready. All but one of the warranty issues have been taken care of, & it should be done tomorrow!

Will try to verify tomorrow, but heard that Matt Miller's "Mom" passed away Saturday, yet nothing has been mentioned about it here. Maybe the family wants to keep it private.

Hope everyone is well, & those on the East Coast are safe from the "funny named" hurricane! Can't spell it nor pronounce it!;)

Time for a glass of wine, & baseball game!

Be safe everyone!!

super cub for tailwheel endorsement.

I hope you had fun Neal. I did my float and tail wheel training in a Super Cub. No radio. Hand prop. The most fun I ever had.

I took your advise and spent last weekend at the Luray KOA. Beautiful campground. Perfect weather. Met some really nice people. Visited a couple wineries.

Awesome - I love that place! And when the BBQ place down the street (in town) they are the best! Luray KOA is so peaceful, I'll be going back soon. This was my view out the office window when there in early November 2017.

Back at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, this time is spot 229. Outstanding place and the people couldn’t be friendlier. One of the few places that all four in our family can agree we love.

On an another note, we definitely enjoy Luray KOA. It helps that it is close to home.

Apple Valley Farm RV Resort in Lake Lure, NC. Nice quiet place to enjoy before heading back up to Luray to finish out our summer. Unfortunately North Carolina is somehow back to Phase 2 so even though there isn’t many people here it is very restrictive or places are just closed. We did get to hike Chimney Rocks which is impressive. Also a good thing I have an ATT SIM in the Cradlepoint because Verizon is almost nonexistent here.

Bowman ND city RV park. I'm guessing there's a back story.

We_b_trippin, how did you like the drive into Apple Valley Farm Lake Lure? We were there in May and loved the park, but a tight drive in, a real white knuckler in our 40'. Almost missed the entrance too, and a turnaround i'm told would have been difficult. We loved our spot (we stayed a couple spaces down from the onsite manager in one of his spots), but it rained hard 3 of the 5 days there.

Settled in at the Mothership for some roof radius work.

Honestly it bothered my wife much more than me. I’m 35 feet towing a Grand Cherokee so not quite as long. But you do use every bit of the road. She kept providing details on upcoming curves which helped as each upcoming turn wasn’t a complete surprise. Ask me again after tomorrow because the drive back down the hill seems more challenging.

It rained quite a bit here this week too. Interesting place and lots of Newmars. We are Site 107 and for concrete pads in a resort type atmosphere I wish the site was a bit more level.
