Welcome to Houston! As we were entering the Houston area a car came across the interstate median, followed by six squad cars. The dashcam caught the action (but the file was too large to post here) and we got to reflect on the difference two or three seconds made in our lives.

[Edit: Thanks to my technical advisor Neal, I was able to link to the video - and here it is. Now, we're safely tucked away in Galveston at the Jamaica Beach RV Resort through January.]

If you have a gmail account, upload to YouTube and then you can link the video here. Let me know if you need help.

Gonna snow in the passes headed back to California so I invested in a set of Easysoxs after following @Neal’s debacle a year or so ago. Hope I don’t have to use them!
I'm so proud of you! Tear welling up in my eye...I hope you can enjoy ice coming off your wiper blades too, it was such a great moment :) Returning your Christmas gifts and getting you a heated water hose too. See you in Banff in Feb!!!

. See you in Banff in Feb!!!
Ah, rving to Banff in February, my dream come true! Can you recruit @ARD to tag along? And throw in @redbaron with his new buffed up paint job😁.

I hope you have a bulk discount on all these heated hoses, or are at least getting promotional credit. :)

Heard in the news that all the rage this year is personalized gifts, so maybe something like this would be appropriate for Neal:

Fountain of Youth Spa RV Resort Highs in the mid 70’s, lows in the high 40’s…tolerable. Also about at sea level. The surface of the Salton Sea is 226’ below sea level. Not a lot of RVs here now but I’m told it fills in after Christmas. Riding the new e-bikes on desert trails and old traffic-free roads daily is a real treat.

Spent the weekend in Monterey CA, stayed at KOA Moss Landing on our maiden voyage towing the Canyon. It was so trouble free and easy on and off, I can't imagine not taking it with us every time we venture out.
We wandered into Monterey to Fishermans Wharf for a couple of great meals and took a drive to Pebble Beach to have cocktails at the Lodge. It was sunny and 71F. Home, just two hours away saw low 50s and fog! Great way to spend Christmas weekend. Normally we are with family but this year we decided to change it up.

Well, now that the deal is done we are in The Tides RV Resort in Palmetto FL. A whole 12 hours in the new coach so far and loving every minute.

New 2022 SuperStar 4061.

Some pics to follow.

Love the Monterey/Carmel area. Moss Landing is a perfect location for a visit. Our only wish is that the spaces were a bit larger in the rv park. Enjoy!
BTW, that’s a nice looking coach….

Looks like a very nice place!
Yes, came down last winter and signed up for annual before we left. Lots of activities, all the people staying here are nice as well as friendly.

They are completing another across route 41 here called The Surf that will be geared more toward monthly stays. From what we have seen it is really nice as well.

As required here is the pic of the new coach when we brought her home.

Will post additional with her opened up.
