Nice job @ARD! Can you provide a link to what you're using for your sanicon hose protection? I need to order something for my extension and not sure if I'm going to use what I used on the other or what you're using. Grac'yaaas!
Is the hose in the bottom photo the one from Thetford? As I recall, they sent you a replacement hose to replace a leaky one. Will they also just sell the sleeve material separately?I love, love, love the Banjo quick couplers. Thanks to @NWIP who walked me through the process via FaceTime. Had to use right away because I couldn't reach my sewer hole in Utah. It makes life so much easier, especially of not having to put the handle through the hole in the wet bay. `

Hmpfh! No one like a Meester smarty pants. I was very proud of doing this and it didn’t take 10 mins ?. Ask @NWIP who had to suffer through it with me.Well, it took all of 10 minutes, could not have been easier.
You can reduce the length of the end piece on the hose a bit by cutting off one of the two barbs on the Banjo fitting tailpiece. It shortens the overall length by around two inches. Stay tuned for the prototype I am working on that will eliminate the OEM head completely. Top secret, hush-hush project at the moment. My only concern is the part going into the ground is longer now therefore easier to rock out of place.
