Growth is slowing but not sales. EV sales continue to grow the world over, including the US and Canada.

ICE sales are losing market sales though. Toyota just started R and D too late. Now toyota is so far behind they think they are first.
Toyota was the first in the world to mass produce a hybrid vehicle, the Toyota Prius. They are not behind on technology they just refuse to play the game by California rules. Good for them.

Maybe. If they don’t want to sell cars that’s fine. But enough with the BS that it’s impossible. Other companies are doing it just fine and eating their breakfast.

Oh. And the Toyota electric vehicles are considered the worst EV’s on the market. BY FAR..

Reminder ALL - leave politics and associations out of this discussion and forum please. This is a government mandate and situation but we can leave the red, blue, conservative, whatever out. Let's keep this factual based on the mandate, or attempt thereof, what we learn about it, how it affects us, how it can be handled or mitigated, etc. No politics please, cleanup your posts as needed.

Thank you!
Neal, I'm not fond of anyone advertising the positive aspects of az to those fleeing bad situations, so was disappointed someone did on any forum!

However, the poster mentioned a crucial point in choosing a place to relocate! After all, stick and brick, has the downfall of not having wheels!!!

As some keep reminding me!!! Check your facts!!!

All this fact checking is getting out of hand. Just like statistics and polling, real facts are hard to come by and won’t be available in main stream media or by anyone making a profit to provide. Often the real facts are the so called conspiracy theories or those that negatively affect the narrative required.

Common sense says that EV is not going to be a solution anytime soon for the masses.

Common sense says that carbon based reasoning is just stupid. (Man affects only 1.6 molecules out of the 100,000 that make up our air. We are spending so much effort to reduce it from 1.6 to 1.59 and eventually 1.57

The process of making an EV scorches the earth.

Lithium mining uses more petroleum than it saves.

A free market will always bring the best solution. Greedy entrepreneurs actually want a profit and only get it by bringing value to consumers.

Forced policy and forced consumers never make for the right or long term solution. Never.

And don't forget all the thousands of acres of fertile midwest land that is taken out of production for wind towers, huge solar farms and massive transmission lines. Most all these projects wouldn't be happening without the tax breaks. No one is looking at the big picture and using common sense. China is just laughing at us as they reap the rewards.

I have seen first hand how the storms and hail have intensified in the area around us where 2500 acres where converted from farming to solar. Never had grapefruit hail before these where installed a year ago.

Our neighbors sold land wind energy but thankfully we were able to litigate and prevent the installation. Now we are fighting crypto farms and human waste fertilizer for the same neighbor, who turns out to be an off shore holding company exempt from BOI laws. Real Americans are bonding to fight this and I am sure this is happening all over the USA.

There is a lot more farmland lost to growing ethanol than solar or wind. And many solar and wind installations are installed on non productive land.

So your saying ethanol is bad for the environment? Do you know that the byproducts of making ethanol is used for animal feed? I don't understand your point here???

Let's be kind to one another, I think this thread may be derailing. Not much we can do about it beyond be aware of it and how it may affect us while the vendors affected fight it.
