It seems some shows you don't have to record, it shows football games I can replay automatically.

I tried to watch a game the other day on NFL+ and it didn't appear so it seemed it was out of market and it was on YouTube TV. I canceled NFL+ before the first billing, not going to need it now that I took the plunge with YouTube TV.

I'm really liking some things about YouTube TV as I learn more about how it works. When going to the live section you get the TV guide to show what's on. On the top right is the sort method and you can use the default, most watched, or custom. What's neat in custom is you can organize the guide how you want such as putting your favorite channels at the top of the list. I haven't done that yet but just discovered it. I'm really liking the record anything concept. I hope to watch my game today at 5 PM but I just clicked the + so it's going to be recorded. So easy!

For a comparison of my home FIOS setup which was Internet + TV I was paying $200/mo. Now I'm Internet only (300/300) for $39.99/mo (with autopay) and with YouTube TV at it's full price which I think is $64.95/mo that is half of what I paid before. While as I mentioned I don't care about TV, having the option to watch something and NOT paying Verizon all that money makes me happy. Top that off with being able to call up content on any device anywhere is a nice feature.

I noticed on YouTube TV that you can't watch out of market games but you can record them. Once it's played you can then watch it.

By the way, it looks like YouTube is offering referrals so we both can benefit. Let's take money from Google and enjoy! If you're interested in signing up for YouTube TV which I'm enjoying...click here as this is my referral link (full disclosure).

We are also using YouTubeTV at our new sticks and bricks, and spent 2 months with it in the RV with Starlink for internet, no problems with either and would recommend. I cancelled my RV Dish plan, and now have a 75lb paper weight on the roof of the RV I have to figure out something to do with, but pleased with the decision.

Yup, also seeing perfect picture quality with Starlink. I was amazed last night watching the games.

Neal, We spent the day yesterday binging college football games, quite a selection on the YTT without having to subscribe to multiple sports packages on top of a ridiculous cable base price. We were spending $140 per. month on Dish, and haven't missed a thing so far. Looking forward to seeing how they both work in Florida this winter. Did you wind up going portability or RV package on your Starlink??

Same, so far haven't been deprioritized to the point it makes any difference in service quality. Can't wait to try it out on the road again, we have been sitting way too long!

I use YouTubeTV and like it. First, you don't have to be login to use the DVR which is unlimited and your recordings are good for a year. I record everything I want to watch except sports and speed though commercials. When I travel south I get my locals at home area code for 3 months before YouTubeTV complains that I have not to access my locals from the registered area code so I have son stop by the house and turn on YouTubeTV for day and YouTubeTV is happy again. If I want local channels I use the Over The Air antenna.

Last night watching football I first used the cable TV service here at the CG. Not the greatest but I figured I'd save the bandwidth (Starlink) for working on the computer while watching. I then decided to switch to YouTube TV and wow, truly amazed at the picture quality I'm getting through YouTube TV (and Starlink). If I didn't know it wasn't 4K I would have guessed it was 4K but it wasn't. But the quality and color was that good. I am not subscribed to 4K on YouTube TV and probably won't. After last night I'm not sure I'd notice the difference.

Very pleased with YouTube TV!
