Hey all!
We're getting ready to look at a 2006 Newmar Ventana 39'. The current owner told me the previous owner put a rubber roof over the fiberglass roof but doesn't know why. Current owner has had it for 2 years and says there are no leaks. I'm suspecting some type of roof damage that was cheaper to fix with rubber than fiberglass repair. Any idea why someone would put rubber over fiberglass?

I think you’re probably right but if the rubber roof was put on correctly and doesnt leak, it’s a non issue. Be sure to get it inspected and make sure it doesn’t leak though.
