I have a Newmar Baystar, and have some Truck Stop questions.

1. Do the diesel lines have gas?
2. Can you stay over night at a truck stop? I realize it will be noisy but for a quick several hour stop are you allowed to sleep at a truck stop?
3. For gassers will the truck stop discount card work?

Just asking!

1. No
2. Yes at most
3. EFS is for diesel only

@Rbjewell
1. Do the diesel lines have gas? If you are referring to the Truck Lanes then the answer is No Diesel & DEF only.
2. Can you stay over night at a truck stop? Yes. I try not to do this since in my view as RV'ers we have more options for places to park & get some sleep. Seems truckers have limited options and have rest time requirements they have to meet to stay legal. Do it's typically a campground for our overnights. I realize it will be noisy but for a quick several hour stop are you allowed to sleep at a truck stop?
3. For gassers will the truck stop discount card work? Need to know what "truck stop discount card" you are asking about to provide an accurate answer. IF you are asking about the TSD discount program it is diesel only.

@J&JD hit the key points right on the money. Here are a couple of additional observations. Most truck stops will also have an adjacent set of gasoline pumps with canopies high enough for RVs to clear (but, be sure to watch closely). The safest practice is to use the outside gasoline pump lane whenever it is available. That will give you some extra room to work.

While you can “usually” stay overnight in the truck parking area, it will be noisy (trucks arriving/leaving, refrigerator units running, etc.). And, if parking spaces are limited, be prepared to get barked at by a trucker needing a place to park.

Finally, @J&JD is correct about the TSD/EFS discount; it is only for diesel and DEF purchase; no gasoline.

Good Sam Club card gives you 5 cents a gal. At Pilot /Flying J. Some truck stops have RV parking separate from the truck area.
