You're just on the wrong side of town! Iotla Valley has power. I just spoke to my Mom. My cousin lost power (Upper Burningtown) but she is on an oxygen machine and got put on the list for power to be restored quickly during an outage. So her power got restored by 11AM.-6 this morning. Still no power.
They were out here at 5:00 last night. Cut the downed trees and repaired the lines, and then left. The power was back on for everyone in our area except for my house, the barn and a cabin that is on the property. I don't think they realized there was damage to the transformer that feeds our house, so they naturally assumed that they had fixed the problem. You're just on the wrong side of town! No, no and NO! Glad you made it though, those are some pretty nasty conditions to be driving a big rig!It was -6C (22F) in Billings Montana this morning. It started out clear and bright for our trip to Great Falls. It's about 220 miles so about a four hour drive. Not today. We ran into some blizzard conditions so we arrived about 6 1/2 hours later. See the video (patched 4 clips together) and see pics of our ice coated rig upon arrival. All in all, the drive wasn't too bad but it would have been a lot better if folks driving in bad weather would learn to turn their lights on!
