I just bought a new air filter for the Dutch Star. Just South of three hundred dollars. It is a wix filter. Is that in the money, or have I been violated?

yowch, maybe both?

Well if it’s a Freightliner, then yes. They are around $120 at a FL shop, or $300 ar Napa and the like. Costs me around $90 to drive to Sac Truck (FL) and it would be worth it just for the filter, but I wait until I have a few other things I need (want), or need some service I don’t feel like doing myself.

I replaced mine this past spring and paid $160 for it at the local Freightliner shop.
