Planning out the water pump upgrade to the Remco 55 AquaJet variable pressure pump. Currently the hoses are fastened with SS Pinch clamps. For a hose system that is "permanent" single use clamps makes perfect sense. Screw type clamps or various design are handy for hose systems that need adjustments or modification.

Thoughts on using something other than 304 SS pinch clamps similar to this OEM installation. Experiences with water pumps in a residential or RV installation?

Plan to use something like this in the proper size. McMaster-Carr

For my coach, the pump was a drop in replacement with the screw on fittings already on the end of the pex lines. Do you not have threaded fittings on the end? It should be simply screw off, swap pump, screw on.
