I have 305 all around…

When I mentioned removing the Rettrobands, she backed up and said she doubted the installer would want to remove them as it's a proprietary product of NIRVC.
SHOULDN’T be an issue. NIRVC provides removal instructions for this purpose.

If the installer has any skill, they should be able to loosen/remove the 2 bolts and remove the Rettroband.

Yes, that's what I told the girl who took the order. She said they need some kind of tool to cut the tire with so they can get at the bolts. So who am I to argue.

If you watched the video from the New Aire incident several above they had to use a machine to pry it open to access which got my attention as to the torsion on the tire to install/remove. Not sure if someone would have tool/machine in the field? That was in their shop.

LOL. She may be thinking of something else…Tryon bands?

If they have a problem removing the Rettrobands, I'm guessing they may have a problem re-installing them. Or, will you have to return to a NIRVC location for the installation?

Consensus from above is only NIRVC does the install

Yeah, have to go to NIRVC for the re-install. But I would have thought just about anyone could remove the Rettrobands. I mean, it's only a couple of bolts, right?

FWIW, I still haven't heard back from them.
