TSD Logistics shows what Good Sam is making off of us

Application was submitted to TSD last night I have already received the confirmation e-mail and one saying my confirmation was successful. After the sales pitch by @ARD, how could I not apply.

Now, we just have to figure out when we can burn diesel and go somewhere.

Since you're waiting go ahead and get a Love's Reward card and set that up. When you get the EFS card you can add it to the LRC.

Also download the TSD ap and the EFS ap.

I should have put ARD in as the referral, but I summitted the app just before she checked in with her great information. Soooooo, I put ol-what's-his-name on the app as the referral instead. And, yes; my arms are feeling better today.

It looks like you have to go to a Love's in person in order to pick up a rewards card so you can apply for the program; is that correct? I downloaded the Love's app to my iPhone, but it seems like until I pick up a rewards card, I am dead in the water, Wherever I go in the Love's app, it wants my "rewards number." Since the nearest Loves is 118 miles away, that won't happen any time soon.

Not finding much helpful information on the Love's website. I keep having flashbacks to why I never cared much for Love's.

@TJ&LadyDi you need your efs card from TSD to add to your wallet inside the loves app. Then you are ready to go. The reward program is separate and you can get that the next time you get fuel. It’s not a necessity to be able to fuel. I am happy to get on the phone with you would like additional help.

To provide further clarity. Here is the screen shot of efs app. You can do things with this if you need it. I have it but its also somewhat redundant compared to the loves app.

In a trial run earlier, I clicked on "Wallet" in the Love's app. It asked for my e-mail address, so I put it in. The next screen asked for my "My Love's Reward Number." I couldn't proceed past that point without the Rewards number.

Have I missed a step in registering with Love's? I haven't found anywhere to do that and wonder what e-mail address they expect me to input.

@TJ&LadyDi i have not gotten the Loves reward card yet either. Yes haven’t wanted to go inside and pick one up. I just use card at pump, fuel up, take pix of pump and leave.
One day I may get the card for rewards, but using their app isn’t necessary

That is so strange. Not sure why it would require rewards card to set up the wallet. I don’t have a rewards card and my app was able to set up fine without it. We may need our Chief Technology Officer @Neal to weigh in here.

Well, @sheridany , I've been through the Love's Connect app several times and just can't get by the need for a Rewards number. That app is like shooting doubles blindfolded,,,on a windy day!

You don't have to have the Love's app or reward card to make the EFS/TSD card to work, it just makes it easier.

Just wait until you're at a Love's and get a reward card.

@TJ&LadyDi I haven't read all of the above as I'm hitting the road soon but here is the skinny:

1. Install TWO apps: EFS Card and Love's
2. Wait until TSD sends you the paperwork (email?) so you have the numbers to setup the EFS card app (you'll need the physical card to do so)
3. Follow these instructions for setting up the Love's app AFTER you get your TSD card, or come back later and enter the card info so it links the payment source for you.

Nothing else is needed AFAIK, that's all I've done. While I signed up for Love's rewards when setting up the app it never seems to work nor have I received anything, quite frankly don't care, it seems minimal and only used to buy stuff in the stores. I just want the Love's app to use the "pay now" feature to setup the pump while seated in the coach, and the EFS app I just use to see what I saved as it shows immediately upon completing the pumping. I have not had much luck with the map in the EFS app for locations but will look again in the future. Don't get overwhelmed by all of this, the hardest part is setting up the Love's app but you should wait until you have the EFS card in hand as you need the card numbers for that too.

Somewhat off the subject. Have any of you seen this statement from TSD Logistics? I'm not a
Facebook person but the wife is and she showed me this. I'm not sure why there's a need. This was posted yesterday at 1103

We are going to send out an email on this as well, but there seems to be some of our RV card holders that have been contacting the fuel vendors directly. DO NOT contact our fuel vendors (Loves, TA, Petro, Pilot, Flying J, Road Ranger, Ambest or any other discount vendor we have or will add) directly. Your agreement is not with those vendors it is with TSD Logistics. If we find out that a card holder has contacted one of our fuel vendors directly we will cancel the agreement with that card holder. We cannot have anyone reaching out to our vendors and causing issues with those vendors. If you have questions or concerns please contact us directly.

That is really unfortunate and I wonder if this is related to the whole Pilot Flying J Good Sam issue that stopped discounting the TSD arrangement?

Sounds to me like some folks have been complaining to PFJ about its decision to drop TSD/EFS and it has not been well-received.
