Looks like the LightShips arrived in SFO.

Have you considered wrapping them like boats for transport? I see boats in that white shrink wrap type protection.

Yes! That material you see on the nose and cheeks of the trailer is protective film. I've asked our team to work on a more comprehensive coverage solution.

Amazingly, we've put several hundred thousand miles on our trailers and have yet to see any damage to windows that required replacement. The polycarbonate on the front windows is particularly designed for impact resistance and it's been performing well.

VIN#4 is complete. They are finishing up to QA testing. Note the LightShip is off the ground in this image with the technician interacting with the networked systems via a PC at the AeroHub.

Here is a shot from behind with the side windows open.

And finally here is an interesting shot showing the CANBUS wiring and solar panel wiring in the ceiling of the Lightship before the magnetic ceiling panels are put in place.

I am now working on a time to pick it up in Broomfield. It is much easier to have it delivered to my home in Arizona but I really want to go over the LighShip with the technicians and learn as much as possible about the systems. I am In California right now so I may make the trip to Broomfield the first week of February when I planned to return home to Arizona.
