Hey guys and gals, we are new to drivable RV’s as we have had pop-ups and trailers in the past but we are looking at purchasing a 2005 drivable RV what should we be looking for in terms of problems?
It’s a 2005 Thor Motor Coach Chateau 28 foot with a bedroom in the back and a bed of the cab with a front window.
Thanks

Welcome to the Wide World of RV Life! That's a Class C style motorhome. Like with any automobile, check engine miles, service records, tires, breaks, much the same as you would buying an automobile. In my opinion the big thing is signs of any leaks on the inside. Bumpy wallpaper or wall coverings, rust or stain marks on any cloth items, pet damage, musty or moldy smells. It is just like with anything else, some owners take very good care of things and others not so much. Also watch your expectations. As soon as they leave the lot for the first time, they are not new anymore. Making sure things like the AC and frig work on day one is also helpful.
Many happy adventures ahead.
Holler if we can help with anything.
Thank you,
Ken
