Beautiful! The west is a different planet.

Sitting in Charlotte, MI at the Spartan service center.

Red diamond run flat install tomorrow.

Not hard to spot us with our Freightliner chassis in this parking area 🤣

Essex, New Air, and London Air in our row.

Was funny when they pulled our Freightliner Superstar over to the bays this morning. Techs coming out from all over wondering what had pulled up. 😊

Bailed out from Freightliner after the deluge last night as most other coaches did before us.

Drove all of 7 miles to Iron City Campground in Blacksburg. We've stayed here before and they have really improved the place. We have a level concrete site with firepit, swing, gass grill and lots of patio room. 4 nights here to weather the coming storm and make sure the way south is clear.

Very nice place. Often a nice place to dodge Fl hurricanes.

Currently no power since this morning. Probably going to have to stay at little longer here depending on status of our next stop near Macon. Just got internet back. This place is a mess with all the trees and power lines down, not to mention the flooding.

Good to check after that mess of a storm.

We called our next stop in Berea KY and they are good. Have to check Cordele GA which should be our Sunday stop yet.

Glad we got out from Freightliner when we did. Drove by yesterday and the entrance was blocked by a fallen tree. Not sure of their status.

In OH Kentucky campground - sorry for no pics but raining until after dark.

Rolled all the way down from the Spartan Factory today - rain from north of Cincinnati and pretty much the rest of the way.

Lots of Florida plates here from those that moved out of the direct path. Campground just wet with no issues.

Will see how going through Atlanta is tomorrow on our way to Cordele GA.

Riverwood RV Resort Mancos, Colorado

I left Canyonlands, Utah this morning and had a short, leisurely, drive to Mancos, Colorado. I was here a few weeks ago with the Chile Peppers for their New Mexico State Rally Tour. Riverwood RV Resort is a nice, well kept, RV Park in Mancos, Colorado close to Durango, Colorado. I will lay up here for 2 nights as I make my way to Albuquerque, New Mexico this week for the Newmar Kountry Balloon Fiesta Rally.

Made it to Minooka Park near Jemison AL. Water, sewer, and ELECTRIC! Plan on 7 nights here. The previous two days of gen/ battery living has made me appreciate 50a service. No real damage to the coach or this area from the storm which also makes it feel more normal. I pray the Carolinas recover soon.

I love the paint scheme on that coach.

Can a Klingon say love? Hmmmm!! Well if there are any critics, I would be glad to bang heads.😂😎 Gotta be a Trekky to understand that.
Perhaps GlampDaddy can spare some quality spirited beverage for the occasion.🤣

Thx, those colors were a special order from the Essex pallet at the time.

Nice. When I grow up I would chose the same colors for my Dutch Star. Wait aminute. Forget that. I am having too much fun as a big kid.😂😂

BUTTE MT, KOA I do not recommend, very small sites, dirt, no cable, good wifi, satellite and cell

Back at our winter spot, The Tides RV Resort in Palmetto FL.

Drove through Valdosta on 75 yesterday, lots of damage along the highway until well past the FL Welcome Center.

No full pics of the coach until cleaned 😊. Filthy after driving through rain for two days.
