Looking good Jim.

Following all your great progress, can't wait to come visit.
Thank you so much!

I would highly suggest anyone wanting to visit wait until at least the middle of May. The weather has been horrible and all the plants we put out have been either killed or severely damaged from the cold.

We were a bit early with an April re-opening this year, and I have blocked out the entire month of April of next year. The park just doesn't show the way we want this early in the year.

We even had some snow flurries earlier this morning. :-(

@Jim , I thought you were able to control the weather, you seem to be able to do everything else😁😎

Apparently not, cuz it's a full on hail storm out there now. o_O Not the golf ball sized stuff that they have in Texas from time-to-time, but still, it's enough that it's rolling around on the deck.

Forecast is in the 20's tonight so looks like another year with no fruit. Wind is blowing and the snow is coming down pretty good. And yet, we have hard core campers making the best of it.

I’m adding another set of hook ups and a gravel pad next to my RV parking for visitors and I included a 50amp outlet in front just for EV charging. So far used several times by a volt and works just fine.
Great to hear. We pull an RV with our EV. Great to see more and more parks being proactive on charging. Don’t be agree I’d to charge a fee. Every EV/RVer we have come across expects to pay a charge fee.

Good luck.

Y’all need to check out the BURCH BARREL!!
It’s turning a LOT of heads very time my buddy breaks his out. It’s almost the best of all worlds; smoker, grill, Santa Maria pit, and Solo Stove campfire!!!

It’s a whole new style that really must be seen and tasted to get the whole appreciation!

Here it is at my friend Eric’s store:

And here’s a really cool demo video by our buddy Jeremy:

You’re welcome.

Interesting...being from Santa Maria (and growing up BBQing), I use a weber lid on my Santa Maria pit. Same concept with same results. I like that guy however...what an enthusiast! I take my tail-gator SM pit on the back of the Canyon Star...sadly, many parks are beginning to ban open fires. As you know, Avila doesn't allow open fires. We'll be there next weekend and I'm bringing some prime ribs that I'm going to have to BBQ on my gas pit...just not the same 🤔 thanks for sharing...
