I've always been connected to 50 amp when I have equalized mylead acid batteries. I need to equalize again and wondering how many amps I need to be connected to. I only have 20 amps at my storage and am concerned that may be too low.

Anyone with experience?

I would be on 50A via shore or GEN personally but I don’t remember what the demand was on the supply. I typically did it overnight when the CG demands were reduced.

That's my problem. When I was on 50 amp I never paid attention to the amp draw.

Did you measure the gravity of the cells before doing an equalize? Or, did you just do periodically?
