In Staunton VA for a wedding this weekend with 37' Cedar Creek in tow. Looking for easier route back to 95 in route to Wilmington NC. Was planning on taking 64 back towards Richmond, but hill grades coming out of Staunton look like they could give my 2000 F250 a real workout. Any recommendations?

Only real issue is "Afton Mountain" on I-64.
Stay in the right lane, take your time, & you will be ok!
When cresting the mountain, be sure you are going at a very moderate speed, as your vehicle will try to pick up significant speed going down that long grade. Use a lower gear, to keep the speed in check. Once off the mountain, the rest of I-64 is an easy drive to I-95 South.
Before you get into Richmond, I would suggest taking Rt. 288 South, & you will bypass Richmond, & it is a good road! You will pick up I-95 South near the Rt.10/Chester exit!
Good Luck, Safe travels!

Jabber Jaw,
Thanks for your timely reply. Will be heading east tomorrow morning. I will look into your recommendation about RT 288. Thanks again
