Was good. Not overwhelming.

Did Pork Chops tonight, also used Cherry (low grill with smoke). I removed at 147 and let rest and I'd say that was too long for me. It was on the medium to well done, more medium, but I like it more juicy. Next time I'll probably remove around 135 and let rest.
No pineapple??

I love grilled pineapple but what's the deal with soaking in water?

Soaking them in water keeps them from drying out and burning. Because if the high sugar content, it can char too quickly over direct heat. The extra moisture slows down the caramelization and the pineapple is more evenly cooked and taste better in my opinion.

We don’t / haven’t used smoke on chops. Just grill on medium using temperature on the app.

Always come out juicy.

Did some chicken breasts last night using the basket and smoke - did come out tasty but drier than when we grill them.

Grilled pineapple is delicious. Cut pineapple in spears. Soak in water for an hour or so. Roll around in turbinado sugar. Put on grill. Turn frequently. They are good.
Have you cooked the pineapple on your Ninja?

Well, I don't get it. So I had some chicken drumsticks thawed out and wanted the easiest option to grill them. Option - fire up the gas grill, or use the Ninja. I went with the Ninja, no smoke, air crisp, let's go. They came out perfect, amazing, juicy, delicious. How does the Ninja do this???

MFGA - make food great again :)

I don't know why we can't do drumsticks similar to wings. MFGA, I like it.

I think @GlampDaddy introduced Ninja cooking to the forum, but what caused an Amazon buying spree? @Neal , were you the first to comment on getting a Ninja?

@GlampDaddy should be getting a kickback from Ninja or Amazon.

What temp o

What temp on air fry?

Just picked up a bag of drumsticks for cooking. Probably just season and air fry instead of smoke.

I put it in air crisp mode and that set 390 for 20 minutes which is what I used and did. I was going out to put BBQ sauce on them and 20 min hit and it ended. I just took it off there and let it rest, didn't use the BBQ sauce and it was great.

Well, I was fortunate enough to enjoy some of the master's cooking at the Hoots rally. And again when he stopped through my area and I savored more of his amazing Ninja, well, he is the Ninja, cooking skills. From there I was sold as much as I resisted. He seems to have a way to get to my credit card, it has a lot of damage I'm still recovering from!

I recently gave away my 17 inch blackstone and Green Mountain Grill Davey Crocket. I carry two cooking items now, the Ninja and a Masterbuilt propane grill which is compact and easy to throw a steak or burger on without the hassle of cleanup. My RV adventure has been all about experimenting and honing in on what I like and being minimal as best I can these days. Learning from the masters, the fulltimers!

We got rid of our 22 inch Blackstone (was a rusty piece of junk), gave away our Webber Q, and have a portable Traeger smoker we are getting rid of.

Replaced all with the Ninja XL and a Webber griddle. Like the griddle for the room to do fried rice, breakfasts, etc.

The Webber griddle has been so much nicer than the Blackstone was. Seems to be much better quality overall.
