I've spent a bunch of time getting the coach ready for our Southern Migration Trip to Florida. New tires, full maintenance, lots of planning/loading/unloading and reloading. I think we're ready, or as ready as we'll ever be.
We'll be towing our GMC truck this time as the Jeep just isn't built with comfort in mind. So today, I hooked it up behind the coach for the first time and took of down the mountain. It felt fine, didn't even know it was back there. But the idea of 65' of rolling steel, rambling through the city streets, is a tad bit humbling.
So our first stop will be a small campground called "Twin Oaks RV Park", which is about 1/2 way between our home in NC and the RV Site we own in Silver Springs. Then on to Silver Springs the following day and we'll hang out there for a week or so and then off to Key West for a couple of weeks. Side note: We bought the RV Site in Silver Springs (seen in the pictures below) back in March, and then things got busy and we never got a chance to go back. Lol, sure hope it's still there when we arrive!
So we'll be leaving on Thursday AM. Let the adventure begin!
