Has anyone added any lighting to their pantry or kitchen cupboards? Thinking about it, not sure battery or powered.

Mine came with an LED tape in the pantry. I added another. It already had 12V and a mini reed switch. I’ve added other LED tapes elsewhere such as wet bay and electrical bay. I would recommend going 12V so you don’t have to worry about power in the future. I also added a mini timer switch on various lights such as closet so that they automatically turn off after a period of time (ie 1 minute). This way the door can be left open but the light won’t stay on for too long.

Getting power there is sometimes the hardest part…especially if on the slide…

Will be watching to see how it goes.

We added pantry lighting in the 2024 DS. A welcomed addition. So much so, next visit to Newmar bedroom closets get LEDs.

I added a vertical

LED strip. Powered from the dresser light next to the pantry. On/Off switch attached to the door frame is a micro switch I had in the shop.
I also wall papered the pantry with mirror finish adhesive back wallpaper.
Makes it brighter inside.

Unfortunately the photo turned out to be a video😳

the closest power is on the far side of fridge...not ready to pull it out ..might try battery powered motion for pantry

I installed a motion battery type string light from amazon. Long enough to go up 1 side and down the other. Runs off 3 AA batteries. Plenty of light now. Cheap installation to keep better half happy. Was that or buying a Newell with pantry lighting!
