I replaced my front camera. Same issue. I had to buy new Fakra connector to install new camera. Cut the old camera cable right near camera then install new Fakra connector to connect new camera.
Starting shopping for new connectors tonight. Thanks Turbopilot!

@turbopilot , what connector does the new camera have...male or female? Is only the opposite needed for existing cable? The Amazon links above show both male and female.

As always...thanks, Turbo

Will start doing that. Did you get a chance to try the timer @redbaron linked to?

After finally receiving the crimpers and having good weather when that four letter word "work" didn't interfere, I was able to work on the front camera again this evening. The camera cable extending from the cap was very short and seemed to be anchored in by black RTV sealing the hole. After cutting off the old camera and leaving as much cable as possible for the new connector, I carefully cut the RTV around the cable to see if I'd be able to pull out any cable. I was able to pull about 4' of cable and get to the fakra connector. That made it relatively easy to remove the old cable and connect the new camera. Now if only the screws Newmar used to anchor the camera to the front cap fit through the holes in the new camera. After a little drilling I was able to get the screws through the metal bracket and mount the new camera. Resealing the camera ended up being the easiest part of the job.

Now remember to unplug the cable from the HD module to de-power the HD cameras when not in use. These cameras were not designed for continuous operation. Mine are warm to the touch whenever running. These cameras are wired to the hot side of the coach 12 volt power so they are always on unless you pull the plug.

Has anyone looked into upgrading their 360 system? I would love to have higher resolution/quality cameras and be able to use a larger, high resolution screen.
