Are those baseball fields ?

Are those baseball fields ?
Yes, they are. And in a couple of places in the video, I fly over H&H Farm. Each year they have a corn maze, and although I didn't realize it, the maze is made out of carving a huge image in the corn field. Go to 0:17 and 1:15 of the video and you see where "H&H Farm" and a huge pumpkin, have been cut into the corn field.

I didn't realize this until I was editing the video at home. Then it was too late to go back and get a better shot of it. But sometime later this week I plan to fly that area again, and I'll get some better footage.

Trying to keep threads somewhat focused and since this was drone related. Got the DJI Avata that just released last week. First time flying an FPV and it was way more fun than my DJI Mavic Air 2.

Here’s the result from my first flight with it

Cc @Jim

Wow that's awesome. Please don't tell us that was your first FPV flight!!!

I'm very sorry @Jim caused you to spend so much money.

Well OK. But if that was your first time ever flying a FPV drone, then you better go get a job racing drones. Cuz that was spectacular. But tell the truth now, you've done this before... right? :)

@Neal it was my first fpv flight and interestingly enough I think it had a lot to do with the joystick controller, it’s insanely intuitive.

@Jim all I flew before was my mavic and I would say my flight recordings were mediocre at best, this was definitely a first but I’ll say I’m totally hooked now.

Yeah, now try flying the mavic - yawn!

You did very well! I didn't, and still don't, have that good of perception when flying that close to limbs. And then the flight under the trampoline, very nice!

So with the avata the handheld joystick is very much like a flight simulator joystick and the trigger is just speed. Pull back, push forward, tip left or right are all there really is, the extra part that allows for the precision is that in the goggles you see the equivalent of a target. It allows you to aim for where you want to go, basically keep the aim at open space and you’re good to go.
