2022 New Aire: I haven't had to mess with the settings on Silverleaf too much yet, but I noticed that the autogen start wasn't coming on when the temperature went above the settings for it. That's when I noticed that I am 'locked out' of this, and I cannot figure out how to get it to allow me to modify the settings, or even enable autogen start. Any help?

If it is asking for a password number it is 42, at least on my 2019 London Aire it is.

Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy . The meaning of life. 43 minus one. A great deal of Silverleaf is references to old sci-fi. For instance, the cloud-based connection system is called Rozie….

That's good to know if I can ever get to the point of inputting a password. Still trying though!

Go to the Home Screen on your silverleaf display. On the left-hand side is a list of functional areas - go to the bottom button it will bring you to additional features and settings. push that bottom button. It is below your climate and floors if you have then. The. scroll with the right arrow to the last of the screens and it will have a position to put in the password it will be sent normally to 36 or 37. You need to change it to 42. You will need to do this again every time you reboot the screens, or do a power cycle on the coach with the salesman switch it may reset it.

Be aware there are many many settings on these different special feature screens. Some are good to investigate and some of them will really cause you problems - it is however pretty logical. Give you an example of a problem - I inadvertently set my auto fill to 100% start and 100% stop so the next time I went to auto fill it was coming out the drain tube on the passenger side of the couch. (since every time it would stop it would start again. Oops ). No damage done but I had to figure out what was going on when I saw the water coming out, fortunately it was within a minute or so of it starting to overflow so didn’t waste a lot of water, but there are a lot of settings there that you just have too think about how they work

That's what I needed - my screen is not exactly like that, but it got me to where I needed to be. Thanks much!

As a fan of HGOTG, I cannot believe I missed both the reference to 42 and to Rozie... I just thought 42 was a funny ironic coincidence and I totally zoned on Rozie... :D

I spotted it day one …. But we are reaching back half a century now…. 😊
