I use the Garmin RV 890. Highly recommend either 890 or 1090.

What gps map screens do you use im looking at a garmin rv1090
I'm not sure what you mean by "screens" can you explain this a bit?

We have a 1090 and really like it. I just use the default screen.

Are you still enamored with the 890? I used mine a couple of times in the past and it proved disappointing. I had hoped it was just that I was using it in the small town that I live in and that the mapping was not as well supported as in larger metropolitan areas. And then on the way home yesterday, it tried to take me on some nutty adventure through Atlanta. The interstate through Atlanta is always evolving, but Hwy 75/85 have been the same for many, many years. No reason for the 890 to be confused about this area.

I know my way home very well, so I ignored the route that it wanted me to take. But someone without prior knowledge would have been screwed. The 890 has some awesome features, and when it works, it's great. But in my case, consistent routing has not been one of its strong points.
