2022 Newmar London Aire 4551 - RedBaron Build

When we pull wire thru conduit, we do all at one time. Near impossible to do one at a time after the first. The wire bundle is assembled staggered start so they come to a "point" which is where the nylon pull cord is wrapped. The pull cord wraps around in a way that when the rope is pulled, the rope strangles the wire. Then, electrical tape secures the cord to the spine making a pointy nose, and the rest of wires staggered wrapped to the spine. If a few corners, then use wire pull lube. Always run another pull cord with the bundle for future.

My 2002 Newmar had Blue convoluted tube that was I think 3/4" ran by Newmar. So, that would fit a couple Category cables, a Coax, a low voltage power line,
 
3/4" will be tight with the ends on it, but should work. I might cut the ends to make it easier.
 
3/4" is going to be a challenge for sure.

I just emailed Parsec as I had two connectors where the pins fell out or were left on the pepwave side. May have been me tightening them too much or a defective build on the connector, who knows. I pushed the pins back in and will see if they work well but I wanted to know what connectors to get should I have to replace them.

They use LMR200 cable

Connectors (I bought spares from Mouser.com):
  • The cellular connectors are: AMPHENOL RF,132234
  • WIFI connectors: AMPHENOL RF,132234RP

I used these cable covers to put over the area the cables go into the roof then put Sikaflex 221 in the hole with wires and then of course dicor.

I am going to solder my pins. Decided to cut the ends off to get more room.

Interesting - is there an issue with balance or is this preventative?

It's a one time balance that continuously adjust, both to speed and tire wear.

I run these on all trailers and all my prior motorhomes.

When I first was introduced to Centramatics was in 2010 on my Fleetwood Discovery. I had 2 years of driving on the tires, and they had a terrible wear pattern. I rotated the fronts to the back, and put new ones on. After 500 miles, I really didn't feel good about the quality of the ride. I happen to live close to Centramatics, and I stopped by to talk to them about it. They put a set on, and the ride was instantly better.

In addition to continuous balancing, they also act as a heat sink for the brakes, and a dust shield.

By doing it up front, I will keep the tires running the best possible for their lifetime.

Well you got me thinking about them. Im taking one more trip on the current tires. Then they will have about 58000 and 7 years since produced, 6 years on the road. Since balancing big tires often seems to be a challenge for tire shops, I might just pick up a set of Centramatics and have them available for the tire shop later in the year. Im driving right by Alvarado in June.
