I've always towed a 2-door Jeep Wrangler, but when we leave for Florida this trip, we'll be towing our GMC truck. The Jeep is just too uncomfortable to be an only car for the next several months.

The truck is obviously several feet longer than the Jeep, and while I don't anticipate any difficulty's, I figured I ask in advance.

Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom they would like to share about the differences of towing a Crew Cab truck vs a 2-door Jeep Wrangler?

TIA!

I tow a crew cab full size truck regularly. You won’t need to worry about anything different than the Jeep other than if you have a tight turn situation there will be a slight difference in rear wheel tracking due to the longer wheelbase. Have a safe drive south!

Just make sure you know and follow the tow setup and re-engaging procedures, does the battery need to be cutoff, etc. As for towing, you won't even know its there.

As I recall, you took a picture of my cheat sheet for hooking and unhooking my GMC Canyon. I caution you to check your owner's manual to verify it is the same as mine.
