I am really struggling
I have a tiffin 32sa 2018 gasser with 6500 miles
I was trying to sell and buy a diesel pusher tiffin or NEWMAR
My rig is absolutely great shape all around
The reason of getting diesel for towing and better ride durability
I don’t travel long distances just locally in southern ca looking now to go on long trips to visit USA like Yellowstone etc 2 weeks at times
Maybe once a year or so
1 do I keep my gasser or get a diesel looking for a used one 2018 or so
Thank you for any help

With a diesel you a get into more expensive maintenance and repairs, and of course you have to become an emissions expert to avoid being stranded by that. Your gasser is probably almost trouble free and low maint by comparison, and it probably performs just fine. Also you might or might not get better fuel economy out of a diesel but with the cost difference for fuel, any savings are probably negligible. I can tell you that on my last 4500 mule trip, I spent a lot of time thinking about my old Bay Star.

I’m not worried about long trips with my gasser When I go on them. Next year we’re heading to Alaska from Tennessee. About 2 months.
In previous posts there are some good pros and cons for both.

thank you, guys, I will look at reinforcing the ride of my gasser. Somehow ,maybe add insolation for enging noise too
hopefully it can be done and stay with my gasser.

I’d say that makes the most sense. There are things that can be done to improve the suspension, and dyna-mat is good for sound deadening.

Regarding gasser suspension upgrades, I added several super steer items to improve the CanyonStsr when I owned it. They worked as advertised
